R.J. O'Brien is the oldest clearing member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, established in 1914. Firm Chairman Emeritus Robert O'Brien Sr. chaired the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and served on the Board of Directors.

The sales and trading arm of the Fixed Income Group is composed of six individuals with experience from Greenwich, PaineWebber, Lehman, Kidder, Chase and O'Connor. In addition to the sales people, The Fixed Income Group has a back office customer liaison and an internal risk manager.
